Groundpanda says, "War = bad"
Ok, so I don't know too much about politics, and I don't keep up with the news too much. I think that the problem starts with our own selfishness. Maybe I'm wrong here, but a while back, the US took the position of neutrality as long as they weren't attacked. Ever since WWII, though, we've had this overwhelming urge to kill and attack every country that doesn't agree with us. It's stupid. I understand the oil problem and everything, but we wouldn't have this problem if we'd work on new forms of power, like, what's being theorized and tested now (finally), hydrogen. If administrations would stop caring about leaving a legacy and start caring about the lives of individuals, we wouldn't be in this mess.
However, in the situation we're in now, though I hope we don't go to war, we probably will. Bush handled the September 11th incident well, and I'm glad we had him instead of Gore for that. But what he's doing now is fairly ludicrous (if I spelled that right).
By the way, anyone who feels the incredible need to go to war needs to mature. If you're prepared to die for your country, fine. Good for you. Most people aren't. With the way children are raised today, with tons of gifts and prizes from their everloving parents, people would have a hard time dealing with a war. A hard time for teenagers today would be living without an internet connection - it's a lot different than 60 years ago.
By the way, that last message should hopefully get some republican into an argument. I'll go ahead and say it - bring it on, brotha' man. I don't know much about politics, but I'm 7'2!!!! MWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
