[Terry In The Dark 1]

Wow

Dude, that game is fucking incredible. Dark and morbid, and actually freaky. Just the way I like it.

It seemed like something direct out of Stephen King.

Keep up the great work.

I'm really glad you like it! In retrospect it has turned out pretty morbid - quite the opposite of the comics in fact. I'd originally planned Terry In The Dark as a CG cartoon with some pretty horrific Guardians but the game has actually ended up much darker in tone. Strange that you mention Stephen King because although I haven't read many of his books, 'The Dark Half' and the cover of 'Pet Cemetary' kept popping into my head while I was drawing the first level.

Not bad

The whole supposedly "scary" picture at the end didn't really scare me, and I think that's what ruined it for me. Also, the music has potential, just be able to play it well next time. The off-beat piano really started getting on my nerves. Good job, though.

Sorry you didn't like the rhythm. I intended it to sound like that, starting slight slow and a little off in the beginning, then picking up. There were three different rhythms going on at the same time, and in one of them, the note is meant to be played a split second before the next measure, which might sound a bit off to you, but I liked it.
